Vince Staples Announces Headline Australian Tour 2027

It's a good time to be a Vince Staples fan, with the US rapper and actor announcing a run of headline shows next year to coincide with his appearance at Beyond The Valley.

Staples' Australian return follows the release of his seventh studio album Cry Baby, which finds Staples combining thoughtful lyrics with live rock and punk instrumentation.

It's a bold new direction for the talented wordsmith and his most introspective work yet.

Staples' Cry Baby Tour kicks off in Perth at Ice Cream Factory on Saturday 2 January, followed by shows at Brisbane's The Tivoli on Tuesday 5 January, Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 6 January and Melbourne's Forum on Thursday 7 January.

The rapper is also appearing at Beyond The Valley, which has already sold out.

Following a string of acclaimed introspective projects, Ramona Park (a melancholic tribute to his hometown) and Dark Times (deeper, more personal themes), Cry Baby marks a more outward-facing artistic statement and piece of social commentary, and sets the tone for this run of Australian dates.

Staples will be performing tracks from his new album, including 'Blackberry Marmalade', 'White Flag' and 'Cotton', along with tracks from his previous albums.

These headline shows mark his first in Australia since 2018, and will give fans the chance to catch Staples commanding each venue, following his upcoming sold-out appearance at Beyond The Valley.
