‘All Over Town’ is the latest rock anthem from WA rockers The Southern River Band. Taken from their upcoming fifth album, Easier Said Than Done (pre-order/pre-save here), the track has a ‘70s rock swagger to it. Think Thin Thizzy meets early AC/DC with a blues twist.
“If you’ve wondered what someone gets up to when you’re not around, and wondered what that wonderment would sound like over a foot-tappin’ good time, then boy do we have the song for you!” says vocalist-guitarist Cal Kramer.
Produced by Grammy-winning producer Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen) in Byron Bay, Easier Said Than Done features 12 hard-rocking tracks, including the previously released singles ‘No Such Time’, ‘F**k You, Pay Me’ and ‘Don’t Take It To Heart’.
To commemorate the release of their new record, The Southern River Band are hitting the road on the Easier Said Than Done Tour, kicking off with two concerts in Melbourne at Howler on Thursday 16 October and The Espy on Friday 17 October.
The quartet then play Adelaide’s UniBar on Saturday 18 October, Sydney’s Crowbar on Thursday 23 October and Brisbane’s Brightside on Friday 24 October, with their final stop a hometown show at Port Beach Brewery in Fremantle on Saturday 1 November.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via thesouthernriverband.com.

The Southern River Band have been out there getting it done for more than a decade. One of the country’s hardest-working bands, things have really taken off over the past couple of years since the band dropped their first ARIA Album Charting record, D.I.Y.
The band have supported everyone from Aussie rockers Cold Chisel and Rose Tattoo, to international acts such as Eagles Of Death Metal and The Darkness, whose frontman Justin Hawkins, proclaimed the four-piece “a proper f**king rock band.”
Having just completed a hugely successful run of shows across the UK and Europe, The Southern River Band can’t wait to hit the road again and perform tracks from their new album Aussie fans this October and November.
