The Presets to Headline Adelaide Strikers' New Year's Eve Spectacular

Adelaide's annual New Year's Eve party at Adelaide Oval is shaping as the biggest yet, with The Presets announced as the headline act.

The electronic music duo of Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes will perform a thrilling set after the Adelaide Strikers home game on Thursday 31 December.

One of Australia's most successful electronic exports, The Presets have won seven ARIA Awards, topped the album charts with their sophomore effort Apocalypso and are beloved for producing hit songs such as 'My People', 'Talk Like That' and 'This Boy's in Love'.

Widely regarded as one of the great nights on the sporting calendar, this year the Adelaide Strikers take on the Melbourne Stars for a night of T20 action.

In an exciting new addition to the much-loved fixture, The Presets will not only perform immediately after the match, but also head to the Lindsay Head Terrace on Level 5 of the Riverbank Stand and step behind the DJ decks for a special set to ring in the New Year at a separately ticketed after-match party, the Post Match Bash. 

Overlooking the River Torrens, the venue offers the perfect vantage point to enjoy South Australia's spectacular New Year's Eve fireworks display.

Last year saw more than 40,000 fans pack Adelaide Oval for the New Year's Eve blockbuster that was headlined by Perth rockers Birds of Tokyo.
