The Mersey Beatles are comprised of Liverpool locals Mark Bloor (John), Steven Howard (Paul), Brian Ambrose (Ringo) and Craig McGown (George).
They built their reputation performing in pubs and clubs throughout Liverpool before taking up a residency at the world-famous Cavern Club for more than a decade in the early 00s, where they clocked up an impressive 600+ performances.
The band have received glowing reviews from critics, with Julia Baird, John Lennon’s sister, having this to say about the quartet: “The Mersey Beatles absolutely nail the sound of The Beatles. They have that brilliant ability to get people up on their feet dancing… and John would have loved that!”
