It’s all happening in the world of Melbourne indie rockers Telenova, with the emerging superstars announcing the release of their sophomore album, The Warning, along with sharing new single ‘The Deep’ and revealing national tour dates.
The Warning arrives February 27 2026, via EMI Music Australia (pre-order/pre-save here) and contains ten tracks, including the album’s first single ‘The Deep’. A rhythmic, near six-minute assault on the senses, ‘The Deep’ is emotional indie that keeps probing long after the final drum beat sounds.
Speaking about The Warning, frontwoman Angeline Armstrong says, “This record is the closest we've come to showing what's really happening beneath the surface. There's faith, fear, anxiety and awe - all at once.”
Edward Quinn sees the album's core as “accepting imperfection - pushing through insecurity and still creating something that feels alive.”
For Joshua Moriarty, The Warning was a reckoning: “Either you confront what's broken, or you disappear into it. This record was us choosing to confront it.”
Telenova are embarking on their biggest national tour to date in support of The Warning, with special guests Fade Evare coming along for the ride next April and May.
The tour begins with an all-ages show at Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 10 April, followed by shows at Perth’s Rosemount Hotel on Saturday 11 April, Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Friday 17 April and Brisbane’s Brightside Outdoors on Saturday 18 April, before Telanova wrap things up with two hometown shows at Melbourne’s Forum on Saturday 2 May.

Coming together in 2020, Telenova consists of Australian filmmaker, writer and musician Angeline Armstrong, multi-instrumentalist and producer Edward Quinn and multi-instrumentalist and producer Joshua Moriarty.
Despite being labelled an indie band by many, there is a lot going on with the trio’s sound that encompasses everything from alt-rock and art pop to dark electornica and soulful jams.
The band’s 2024 debut album, Time Is a Flower, peaked at #23 on the ARIA Albums Chart and was widely praised by critics, with Rolling Stone calling it “bigger, bolder, and more ambitious than anything else the art-pop trio has released, successfully expanding on their cinematic sound.”
The Warning further explores the evolution of Telenova and shapes as one of 2026’s most anticipated releases.
