Dave Hill Announced As Additional Special Guest for A Perfect Circle's Australia & New Zealand Tour

A Perfect Circle's Australian and New Zealand visit just got that bit more entertaining with the announcement of acclaimed comedian, musician and writer Dave Hill joining the tour.

Along with the main act and the previously announced Puscifer, Hill brings his unique brand of stand-up, storytelling and live music to the stage each night across Australia and New Zealand.

The New York City-based artist has gained a cult following across the globe and is renowned as one of alternative comedy's most exciting voices, with The Atlantic describing him as "one of the funniest people alive."

The tour marks A Perfect Circle's first visit to Australian shores since 2013, and a return to New Zealand following a 22-year absence.

Kicking things off at Adelaide's The Drive on Friday 4 December, A Perfect Circle follow up with concerts at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Sunday 6 December and the Riverstage in Brisbane on Tuesday 8 December, followed by two gigs in Sydney at Carriageworks on Thursday 10 December and TikTok Entertainment Centre on Friday 11 December. The tour wraps up in New Zealand at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Sunday 13 December.

Founded in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan, A Perfect Circle have released four albums across their career, with their 2000 debut record Mer de Noms peaking at #4 on the Billboard 200, making it the highest-charting debut rock album at that time.

Thirteenth Step (2003) and eMOTIVe (2004) both came in at #2, while Eat the Elephant (2018) debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 and topped the Billboard Rock Albums chart.

The current lineup features Howerdel and Keenan alongside Josh Freese, James Iha, and Matt McJunkins, with Keenan also a founding member of the support act Puscifier, which includes Mat Mitchell and Carina Round.
