Two of the country’s most revered songwriters, Sarah McLeod and Dallas Frasca, have announced a joint 2026 tour. But this isn’t your normal rock and roll tour.
The Green Electric Tour represents both McLeod and Frasca’s ongoing commitment to sustainable touring. The duo have teamed up with Green Music Australia with support from Music Australia, The Harbour Agency and Spank Betty Records, with the tour also supporting Seed Mob, Australia’s first Indigenous youth-led climate justice organisation.
McLeod and Frasca will document the tour, giving fans the chance to see the challenges they face as they try and find more sustainable pathways to help reduce the environmental impact of live touring. This includes everything from recycled merchandise and sustainable travel routes to meat-free catering and eco-certified accommodation, with McLeod explaining, “We wanted to do something that wasn’t just loud — but meaningful. If rock and roll can’t lead the charge for change, what can?”
Adds Frasca, “We’ve both spent years on the road — it’s the wild west out there when it comes to sustainability. We want to show our fans that there are simple ways to make a big difference, and that every action counts.”
The tour will feature both artists performing all their original hits, reimainged rock bangers and new collabs, with McLeod and Frasca backed by two thunderous drummers.
Kicking off at Albury’s Bended Elbow on Thursday 19 February, The Green Electric Tour makes its way across the country, stopping at Moyhu, Melbourne, Frankston, Gold Coast, Nundah and Eumudni, before two shows in South Australia at Aldinga’s Big Easy Radio on Thursday 5 March and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Friday 6 March. The two then play Fremantle, Scarborough, Wollongong, Canberra and Rozelle, finishing the tour at Newcastle’s Stag & Hunter on Saturday 14 March.
