Imaginate was produced by Jack Joseph Puig (No Doubt, Weezer, Glenn Frey) and recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Los Angeles and Secret Sound Studios in Melbourne. Released in Australia in October 1999, the album debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart.
Spawning the top 15 ARIA Singles Chart hits ‘Get Set’ and ‘Everywhere You Go’, the album also helped the Aussie boy band win their only ARIA Award for Breakthrough Artist – Single for ‘Get Set’.
Taxiride followed Imaginate with Garage Mahal three years later in 2002, securing another top #5 ARIA Album Charts ranking. They dropped Axiomatic in 2005 and Electrophobia in 2006 before going their separate ways in 2008.
Reforming in 2015, Taxiride is yet to release any new music but continues to perform live to adoring audiences across the country.
