Two of the planet's most creative artists, Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson, have finally dropped their much-teased collaboration 'WannaCry'.

After debuting the track at Coachella and performing 'WannaCry' at Primavera Sound, EDC Las Vegas, Dark Crystal, Project Glow and Dark Mofo, the vibrant summer anthem is finally available for all to consume.

The track is a full-circle moment for Ninajirachi, whose first-ever gig as a teen was Porter Robinson at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, where she played earlier this year, 10 years later, to a sold-out crowd as part of her Dark Crystal V tour.

A glitchy electronic pop masterpiece, ‘WannaCry’ is interestingly written from the POV of the infamous 2017 WannaCry ransomware virus cyberattack, but instead of being malicious, it frames the virus as something beautiful. It combines both artists' pop sensibilities with pulsating electronic production.

Signing to Skrillex's record label OWSLA at age 18, North Carolina-based producer and songwriter Porter Robinson burst onto the electronic scene in 2014 with his debut record, Worlds.

Following the release of his sophomore album Nurture in 2021, Robinson’s North American tour became the highest-grossing electronic tour of the year, while in 2022 he partnered with Riot Games for the single 'Everything Goes On, which surpassed 100 million global streams.

2024 saw the release of his third album Smile! :D, continuing his evolution as an artist that's included headline shows at international venues including Hollywood Bowl, Red Rocks, Brixton Academy, Tokyo Garden Theatre, Hordern Pavilion and more.

12 months on since the release of her acclaimed debut album I Love My Computer, Ninajirachi has established herself as a global electronic hero, pushing boundaries and reshaping the contemporary electronic sound.

Fresh from selling out the latest iteration of her Dark Crystal live series, Ninajirachi has also shared the stage with PinkPantheress, played Coachella and taken home three ARIA Awards for Best Solo Artist, Michael Gudinski Breakthrough Artist and Best Independent Release.
