Iconic British glam rockers Sweet return down under this October and November on The Final Blitz Tour.
Led by sole original member Andy Scott, who is joined by lead vocalist Paul Manzi, bassist Lee Small, guitarist and keyboardist Tom Cory and drummer Adam Booth, fans can expect to hear all of Sweet’s biggest songs on this greatest hits tour, including ‘Ballroom Blitz’, ‘Fox on the Run’, ‘Love is Like Oxygen’, ‘Wig Wam Bam’, ‘Blockbuster’, ‘Teenage Rampage’, ‘Hell Raiser’, ‘Action’ and many more.
This iteration of the ‘70s outfit has locked in 14 shows across the country, kicking things off in Perth at The Astor Theatre on Friday 30 October. Sweet then make their way to Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre (Thursday 5 November), followed by dates at Launceston’s Albert Hall (Saturday 7 November), Hobart’s Theatre Royal (Sunday 8 November), Narre Warren’s Bunjil Place (Thursday 12 November), Geelong’s Costa Hall (Friday 13 November) and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre (Saturday 14 November).
The final run of shows takes place at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre (Thursday 19 November), Penrith’s Evan Theatre Penrith Panthers (Friday 20 November), Newcastle’s Civic Theatre (Saturday 21 November), Thirroul’s Anita’s Theatre (Tuesday 24 November), Tweed Heads’ Twin Towns (Thursday 26 November), Caloundra’s The Events Centre (Friday 27 November) and Brisbane’s The Princess Theatre on Saturday 28 November.

Sweet resonated with Aussie music lovers, with the band racking up an impressive 13 Top 50 Australian Singles, including two number ones with ‘The Ballroom Blitz’ and ‘Fox on the Run’.
Billed as The Final Blitz Tour, fans won’t want to miss Sweet when they touch down in the country later this year.
