The annual Melbourne festival Sugar Mountain returns in 2026 with a bumper lineup at a brand new venue.
Brought to you by Sugar Mountain, Soothsayer and Resident Advisor, next year’s event heads back to the Melbourne CBD for a day of revelry on Saturday 21 February 2026.
Next year’s event is the first stand-alone Sugar Mountain since 2018, with the most recent editions a collaborative effort with Boiler Room. Punters shouldn’t be worried about any major changes, with the signature 360-degree stage continuing to be the centrepiece of the festival.
Taking over The Paddock between Fed Square’s car park, Birrarung Marr and the adjacent train line, Sugar Mountain 2026 features the likes of salute, Danilo Plessow (Motor City Drum Ensemble), Tiga, Pretty Girl [live], Paula Tape, Baby G and Yikes.

Debuting way back in 2011, Sugar Mountain has become known for its experimental lineup of electronic music from across the globe.
Throughout the journey, the festival has occupied many different venues, including The Forum, the Victorian College of the Arts and Seaworks, with a commitment to deliver progressive EDM that will get you moving.
Beginning life as a multi-stage event, Sugar Mountain is now one stage that has played host to an incredible array of talent, including Nas, Honey Dijon, Hot Chip, Folamour, Eris Drew and Octo Octa and Kelela.
