Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Leon Bridges returns to Australia in 2027 with The Happiness Anytime Tour.

Bridges' seventh visit down under arrives as he prepares the release of his fifth studio album, Happiness Anytime.

Produced by J Lloyd-Watson and Lydia Kitto of British trio Jungle, the 12-track album finds Bridges once again experimenting with his sound.

Speaking about his upcoming tour, Bridges can't wait to return to Australia: "I’m always excited to get back to Australia. I’ve had some really special moments there over the years, and I’m looking forward to returning and sharing this party with everyone."

Bridges kicks things off in Sydney with a concert at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Friday 26 February, followed by shows at Brisbane's On the Banks on Sunday 28 February and Fremantle's Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre on Wednesday 3 March. Bridges then stops by WOMADelaide in Adelaide on Friday 5 March and wraps things up in Melbourne at Royal Botanic Gardens on Saturday 6 March.

Joining Bridges on tour at selected shows will be special guests 54 Ultra and Surprise Chef.

Frontier Member pre-sale commences at 9am AEST on Wednesday 23 September, followed by the general on-sale at 9am AEST on Thursday 24 September. Ticketing information is available at frontiertouring.com.

Breaking out in 2015 with his vintage R&B debut, Coming Home, Leon Bridges has established himself as a genre chameleon over the past 11 years.

Never afraid to experiment with his sound, each release has offered fans something different. His sophomore album, 2018's Good Thing, drew inspiration from the '80s R&B genre quiet storm and '90s neo-soul, 2021's Gold-Diggers Sound was a more modern take on early 00's R&B, while 2024's Leon saw Bridges turn to country.

Upcoming release Happiness Anytime finds the singer-songwriter in dancehall territory while also delving back into his older material.

Since the announcement of the album, Bridges has been touring the record with a new live setup featuring a DJ, horn section, three backing vocalists and Bridges himself out front, which audiences can witness live next year.
