The Army, The Navy Plot Australian Tour 2027

Folk-pop duo The Army, The Navy return down under in 2027 for a run of shows supporting their debut album, Fake Brave Life.

Released earlier this year, the album was recorded in Athens and New York City with producers Drew Vandenberg (Faye Webster, Of Montreal, Toro y Moi) and BLEACHERS' Mikey Freedom Hart (Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey, The Chicks).

Exploring what it means to take risks to follow your dream, the band had this to say about the release: "You have to be brave to put out your music into the world, and know some people will not like it. Faking that bravery for enough time translates to true courage." 

Performing tracks from the record alongside songs from their EPs Fruit For Flies and Sugar For Bugs, The Army, The Navy commence their run of five shows in Sydney at the Factory Theatre on Tuesday 4 May. The two then play shows at Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on Wednesday 5 May, The Triffid in Brisbane on Friday 7 May and Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Saturday 8 May, finishing up in Perth on Sunday 9 May at The Rechabite.

Childhood friends Maia Ciambriello and Sasha Goldberg formed The Army, The Navy in 2022 after moving to Los Angeles.

Gaining a following on TikTok, they released two EPs in 2024 – Fruit For Flies and Sugar For Bugs – and went on to tour alongside Matt Maltese, Paris Paloma and Dora Jar and James Arthur.

Since the release of their debut album in June, the two have played Lollapalooza and lined up a massive 25-date North American headline tour.
