Grassroots electronic music festival Sidebyside returns in 2026 with its biggest lineup to date.
Taking over Tulya Wardli/Helen Mayo Park on Saturday 31 January 2026, Sidebyside is a boundary pushing dance music experience that aims to take the music “out of the club and into the open air”.
Produced by Company Works, a South Australian-based design and production company, Sidebyside has been running since 2019 and features a diverse mix of international and local artists performing across two stages.
The overseas contingent is led by UK-based Harrison BDP, whose sound explores deep genre house, tech-house and dub techno, Swedish producer DJ Seinfeld, who recently teamed up with Australia’s own Confidence Man, Netherlands house DJ Suze Ijó and Kyoto-born, Berlin-based dance floor starter Alex Kassian.
When it comes to Aussie talent, Keyteye producer and DJ, activist, advocate and founder of Common Ground, RONA., makes her festival debut alongside DJ and producer Roza Terenzi, Animalia and Cirrus head honcho Kia and Naarm rising star Pretty Girl. The full lineup of artists performing at Sidebyside can be found below.
Festival Co-Director, Elliott Jamie says: “Each year we aim to curate a sonic journey from start to finish, one that celebrates artists our community know and love, and those they’re yet to discover.”
“We’re driven to provide a world-class platform for local and Australian talent while giving underground artists an opportunity to play a major festival stage, right here in South Australia.”
In an Australian music festival first, tickets will be sold on a time-based system designed to encourage early attendance, providing support for artists playing earlier while offering punters cheaper tickets.
Working on a two-tier system, there are General Admission before 3pm tickets and General Admission Anytime tickets available via humanitix.com.

It’s not just music that features at Sidebyside, with the Adelaide city parklands transformed into a cultural playground with immersive art installations, lighting and sculptural works and collaborations with local artists and fabricators.
There will also be stacks of local food and bevvy options to keep festival-goers well fed and hydrated, with Sidebyside partnering with Pluto Spirits on a limited edition of co-branded cans.
Festival Co-Director, David Musch, says: “The festival experience is carefully put together to create an almost alternate reality. We want everyone to leave their expectations at the door and step into something unexpected. From the bespoke stages to the curated artworks, the experience we want to create is that of discovery and interaction.”
Sidebyside takes place at Tulya Wardli/Helen Mayo Park on Saturday 31 January 2026. Tickets on sale via humanitix.com.
