Stand Atlantic Announce Fifth Album 'Godbreath', Share New Single 'Lucid'

'Godbreath' is set for release this October.

Aussie punk rockers Stand Atlantic have revealed their fifth studio album, GODBREATH, is dropping Friday 23 October via Virgin Music Group. The quartet have also shared the album's latest single 'LUCID', giving fans a taste of what to expect from the upcoming release.

GODBREATH sees the band venture into uncharted waters, pushing their songwriting into new areas, with songwriter and vocalist Bonnie Fraser delivering her best work yet.

Speaking on the new album, Fraser says, “To me, GODBREATH means being the most authentic version of yourself. It’s someone who will do whatever they need to do to get shit done. It’s the consequence of those moments when you’re really leaning into what you do, and you feel on top of the world. When being that honest and open just creates this whole other thing within you. It’s about speaking and owning your truth.”

Following the release of 'Velcro', the band's latest track is a heart-pumping power-punk number born during a bout of writer's fatigue. The powerful track is accompanied by a music video featuring a montage of VHS-styled footage that was filmed at the Lord Gladstone Hotel in the band's hometown by director Max Pasalic.

Since coming together in 2012, Stand Atlantic have quietly gone about their business, growing a loyal following both here in Australia and across the pond.

Receiving acclaim from Rolling Stone Australia, Kerrang!, BLUNT mag, Dork and more, Stand Atlantic broke through in 2017 with the EP Sidewinder, following up with four acclaimed studio albums - Skinny Dipping (2018), Pink Elephant (2020), f.e.a.r. (2022) and WAS HERE (2024).

Stand Atlantic have also gained a reputation for their live performances, selling out headline gigs across Australia, the UK, Europe and the USA. The quartet have supported the likes of Sum 41, MOD SUN, ONE OK ROCK, A Day To Remember and I Prevail, while appearing at festivals around the globe, including Spilt Milk, Good Things, Reading & Leeds, MAYDAY!, Hanabie. presents DAIKAIHOU and many more.

Gearing up to perform at the 2026 US Warped Tour, Stand Atlantic then hit the road with Simple Plan across the UK, with an Australian tour hopefully on the horizon.
