Legendary Kiwi act Split Enz are getting back together for an Australian run of headline shows in 2026.
After being announced as the main act for next year’s Bluesfest Byron Bay Festival, the musical collective have revealed they are playing a further four shows across the country to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their debut album, Mental Notes.
Reuniting for the first time in over 20 years, the band will feature original members Tim Finn, Neil Finn, Eddie Rayner and Noel Crombie, plus Matt Eccles on drums and James Milne on bass.
Split Enz The Forever Enz Tour will commence on Wednesday 13 May at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, followed by dates at ICC Theatre in Sydney on Monday 18 May, RAC Arena in Perth on Friday 22 May and concluding on Monday 25 May at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Forming in New Zealand in 1972 before relocating to Australia in 1975, Split Enz are one of the most influential groups to come out of the Australasian music scene.
Inducteed into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005, Split Enz released a slew of chart topping hits throughout the ‘70s and early ‘80s, including ‘I Got You’, ‘I See Red’, ‘Message To My Girl’, ‘Six Months On A Leaky Boat’, ‘History Never Repeats’, ‘One Step Ahead’ and many more.
Split Enz released nine albums during their time together, with 1980’s True Colours certified 5 x platinum in Australia, selling over 350,000 copies.
Reforming this year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their debut album Mental Notes, Split Enz are re-releasing that album, along with their entire catalogue as part of the Enzyclopedia re-release series - the first of which is due out on November 14 via Chrysalis Records globally and Warner Music locally in Australia and NZ.
