Bachman-Turner Overdrive Announce First Australian Tour 2027

It's hard to believe, but Canadian rock icons Bachman-Turner Overdrive are visiting Australia for the very first time next year, bringing their No Speed Limit Tour our way in February 2027.

The group, responsible for hit singles including 'You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet', 'Takin' Care of Business', 'Let It Ride' and 'Roll on Down the Highway', have only recently returned to touring.

After a successful run of headline shows across Canada and the US in 2024 and 2025, BTO are ready to take things global with a revamped lineup led by Randy Bachman and his son Tal.

"BTO has truly become a family band again," Randy exclaims. "My son, Tal Bachman, on guitar, my daughter-in-law, KoKo Bachman, on drums, and our friends Lance Lapointe on bass and Brent Knudsen on guitar. We sound better than ever. We’re playing all the hits, as well as diving deep into the album cuts, and the response from fans has been incredible. The BTO sound is BACK!"

BTO's first-ever Aussie visit begins in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Wednesday 3 February, followed by dates at Sydney's Enmore Theatre on Friday 5 February, Melbourne's Palais Theatre on Sunday 7 February and Adelaide's Thebarton Theatre on Tuesday 9 February, wrapping up on Thursday 11 February at Perth's Astor Theatre.

Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10am AEST on Tuesday 22 September, with general public on-sale at 10am AEST on Friday 25 September. Ticketing information is available at destroyalllines.com.

Randy Bachman, founder of Bachman-Turner Overdrive, has earned over 120 gold and platinum albums and singles, sold more than 40 million records, and provided the soundtrack to dozens of TV shows, films and commercials.

First finding local success with his band The Guess Who in 1965, it wasn't until he formed Bachman-Turner Overdrive in 1971 that Randy became an international superstar alongside founding members Robbie and Tim Bachman (his brothers) and good friend Fred Turner.

Despite the band going through several hiatuses and lineup changes over the years, the BTO legacy lives on, with this tour giving longtime Aussie fans the chance to finally see the group in action.
