Hardcore titans SPEED have shared new single ‘AIN’T MY GAME’, the second track taken from the band’s upcoming EP, ALL MY ANGELS.
Dropping Friday 23 October via Last Ride Records in Australia and Flatspot Records in the US, the three-track EP was produced by Elliott Gallart at The Chameleon Studios.
Recovering from the death of three close friends, the EP addresses themes of grief, vulnerability and community, and is an exploration of how pain and suffering have strengthened the band’s resolve and given them a hopeful outlook on life.
‘AIN’T MY GAME’ is a barrage of brutal riffs, bonkers breakdowns and yelled vocals about living in the now and rejecting the fantasy world that’s often dangled in front of us.
The Note recently chatted with vocalist Jem Siow and guitarist Josh Clayton about the EP, with Siow calling ALL MY ANGELS the “most collaborative” of all their projects the band has released so far.

SPEED’s rise to the top of the Aussie hardcore mountain has been fueled by the band’s DIY ethos.
Comprised of Jem Siow (vocals), Aaron Siow (bass), Josh Clayton (guitar), Dennis Vichidvongsa (guitar), and Kane Vardon (drums), SPEED released the EPs 2020 Flex (2020) and Gang Called Speed (2022) before dropping their 2024 debut album, Only One Mode, which peaked at #10 on the ARIA Album Charts.
Having performed at Coachella earlier this year, making them the first Australian hardcore act to do so, SPEED have been touring the globe and are currently supporting Turnstile on their US tour before heading to Europe for a run of shows to end the year.
‘AIN’T MY GAME’ by SPEED is out now. ALL MY ANGELS arrives Friday 23 October via Last Ride Records in Australia and Flatspot Records in the US.
