New York City noise rock pioneers Helmet return to Australia in 2026 for a run of eight headline shows.
Emerging during the alt-rock takeover of the early ‘90s, Helmet positioned themselves as the new leaders of the underground heavy rock scene, going on to influence everyone from Korn and Deftones to Pantera and Mastodon.
The current lineup of sole original member Page Hamilton (lead guitar, lead vocals) alongside Kyle Stevenson (drums, backing vocals), Dan Beeman (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) and Dave Case (bass, backing vocals) will perform a career-spanning set during the tour, which is sure to appease longtime fans of the band.

Formed in 1989 by vocalist and lead guitarist Page Hamilton, the only remaining original member of the band, Helmet quickly made their mark with the release of their 1990 debut album, Strap It On.
Helmet went on to release a further three albums in the ‘90s before calling it quits in 1998 due to internal conflicts amongst the band.
Hamilton began performing again under the Helmet moniker in 2003, going through a revolving lineup of musicians over the years. The new iteration of Helmet have released five albums, with the most recent being 2023’s Left, a record Metal Hammer called the band’s “best record they've done in nearly 20 years.”
