Big news in the Spacey Jane camp today, with the Perth indie outfit announcing the release of their new EP, Exit Wounds, and a national tour.

Produced by Day Wave (Calum Hood, Pete Yorn, Olivia O’Brien) and mixed by Lars Stalfors (Role Model, BENEE, The Dare), Exit Wounds was written and recorded by Spacey Jane in Los Angeles during the making of their 2025 album If That Makes Sense.

Dropping Friday 14 June, Exit Wounds includes the previously shared single ‘Do You Really Love Her’ and the just-released track ‘I Never See Her’.

“‘I Never See Her’ is about rationalising a breakup,” says frontman Caleb Harper. “It's a conversation you have with yourself when you're delaying the inevitable and anticipating the grief. It's also about longing for a place that will hold you and keep you safe - trying to define what home means and where it is.”

When it comes to Spacey Jane’s national tour, the band have announced nine dates that will see them joined by special guests Telenova and Amrlock.

The Heading Back Down Under Tour gets underway in Brisbane with two shows at Riverstage on Thursday 26 and Friday 27 November. Then it’s off to Melbourne for two more concerts at Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December, followed by a performance at Adelaide’s The Drive on Sunday 6 December.

Spacey Jane will then play Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 December, wrapping things up with hometown shows at Perth’s ICF: Outdoor on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December.

Frontier Member pre-sale runs for 24 hours from 10am AEST Tuesday 19 May. Sign up here. General on-sale takes place at 10am ASET Thursday 21 May via frontiertouring.com.

Spacey Jane have been on an upward trajectory since the release of their 2020 debut album Sunlight. Following up two years later with Here Comes Everybody, it was 2025’s If That Makes Sense that really put them on the global music map, with the record landing at #2 on the ARIA Album Charts while also being nominated for two 2025 ARIA Awards – Best Rock Album and Best Video.

After successful tours across Australia, North America and Europe last year, Spacey Jane are continuing their global run with a return to America this June that includes a headline tour and performances at Bonnaroo, Governors Ball and Chicago’s iconic Lollapalooza.

Catch Spacey Jane at The Drive on Sunday 6 December. Ticketing information is available at frontiertouring.com. Listen to ‘I Never See Her’ here. Exit Wounds is out Friday 14 June. Pre-save here.
