Welsh ragga metal outfit Skindred are heading our way for their biggest Australian tour in September.
The trio of vocalist and synth player Benji Webbe, guitarist Mieky Demus and drummer Arya Goggin return in support of their upcoming ninth studio album, You Got This.
Set for release Friday 17 April via Earache Records (pre-order here), You Got This was produced by Grammy-winning producer Jay Ruston (Diana Ross, Meat Loaf, Mr Bungle) and follows Skindred’s successful 2023 album, Smile.
After commanding the stage in 2024 as part of the Australian Knotfest lineup, Skindred’s upcoming tour kicks off on Tuesday 1 September at Magnet House in Perth. Skindred then perform at The Gov in Adelaide on Thursday 3 September, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Friday 4 September and Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Saturday 5 September, with the final show at Brisbane’s The Triffid on Sunday 6 September.

Since forming in 1998, Skindred have blazed a path in the heavy metal scene with their genre-bending sound that incorporates metal, rock, reggae, nu metal and electronica.
In a career spanning almost 30 years, Skindred have released eight studio albums, with 2024’s Smile topping both the UK Metal and Independent charts.
On the live front, Skindred have performed on stages alongside the likes of KISS, Korn, Papa Roach and Rob Zombie, often turning the mosh into a heaving, sweaty mass of bodies with their upbeat, technical music and high-energy stage presence.
Catch Skindred at The Gov on Thursday 3 September. Ticketing information is available at destroyalllines.com.
