Carcass Reveal Local Supports for Australian & New Zealand Tour

A month out from British heavy metal purveyors Carcass' Putrefying Down Under Tour, the local support acts for the tour have been reaveled.

Along with LA extreme outfit Brujeria (bar Townsville and Auckland), Carcass will be joined Kimura in Perth, Anggrath in Adelaide, Nembutolik in Melbourne, Hormagaunt in Sydney, Cryptivore in Brisbane, Psycroptic & Necrophage in Townsville and Just One Fix & Soul Void in Auckland.

There has also been a change of venue for the Auckland show, with previously purchased tickets remaining valid.

The Putrefying Down Under Tour kicks off at Perth's Magnet House on Tuesday 22 September. Shows follow at Adelaide's Lion Arts Factory (Thursday 24 September), Melbourne's Northcote Theatre (Friday 25 September), Sydney's Liberty Hall (Saturday 26 September), Brisbane's Princess Theatre (Tuesday 29 September) and Townsville's The Warehouse (Wednesday 30 September), with the tour coming to a close in New Zealand at Auckland's Galatos on Friday 2 October.

Across four decades, Carcass have been leading the death metal charge with their grindcore meets melodic metal sound.

The band have released seven studio albums, with their most recent being 2021's Torn Arteries, which was well received by critics.

Having influenced a generation of metal bands, including Napalm Death, Exhumed, and Slayer, metal fans won't want to miss Carcass' long awaited Australian and New Zealand return.
