Real Young & Lazy Horse Announce Debut Australian Tour

If you've never seen Neil Young live, then the next best thing is DIY outfit Real Young & Lazy Horse, one of the world's most beloved Neil Young tribute acts.

The New York ensemble is described as "an unreasonably faithful, occasionally feral reincarnation of Neil Young & Crazy Horse at their most ragged and transcendent".

Next year the band are making their Australian tour debut, locking in four shows across the country where you can expect to hear all of Young and Crazy Horse's best tracks, including 'Cinnamon Girl', 'Powderfinger', 'Barstool Blues' and many more.

Real Young & Lazy Horse begin their tour in Brisbane on Thursday 21 January at Black Bear Lodge, followed by gigs at Sydney's Marrickville Bowling Club on Friday 22 January and Adelaide's Jive on Saturday 23 January, with the final date at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne on Sunday 24 January.

Beginning life around a decade ago, the quartet of vocalist and guitarist Adam Reich (as Neil Young), guitarist Davey Jones (Poncho Sampedro), bassist Jeremy Aquilino (as Billy Talbot) and drummer Yoni David (Ralph Molina) have been called "one of the most fun live acts in rock" by Rolling Stone.

Renowned for playing marathon sets that sometimes creep past the five-hour mark, Real Young & Lazy Horse are a compelling live act that weaves through familiar favourites and deep cuts across a setlist even Neil would be proud of.
