Powderfinger Announce 'Encore Run' 2027 Australian Tour Dates

After selling out their first Australian tour in 17 years, Powderfinger have announced the Encore Run Tour, which includes nine new shows.

Powderfinger have announced new shows in Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, while also adding stops in Hobart and Canberra, with Adelaide sadly missing out on extra dates, which is a kick in the guts.

"When we saw how many people missed out on tickets, we knew we couldn't leave it there. So we're adding some final shows and we've been able to include dates in Hobart and Canberra, which we're really excited about," says Bernard Fanning.

"We also have some very talented mates joining us. Thank you for keeping the faith and for being so patient. We can't wait to see you out there. Love BF xx"

The Encore Run Tour begins with two shows in Melbourne at Melbourne Park Oval on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 November, followed by two more concerts at Hobart's Cornelian Bay Oval on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November. Then it's off to Perth for two gigs on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 November at Sandalford Estate, before Powderfinger drop in on Canberra's Stage 88 on Saturday 4 December, wrapping things up with hometown shows at Brisbane's Showgrounds on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 December.

Pre-sale tickets are available from 10am AEDT on Wednesday 4 November, followed by the general on-sale at 11am AEDT on Thursday 5 November. Ticketing information is available at livenation.com.au.

Not only have Powderfinger announced new shows, but they've revealed the tour supports for the Encore Run.

The OG lineup of Fanning, Darren Middleton, Ian Haug, Jon Coghill and John "JC" Collins will be joined by some of Australia's biggest and brightest stars, with Ocean Alley, Violent Soho, The Living End, Ball Park Music, John Butler Trio, Something For Kate, Thelma Plum, DMA’S, You Am I, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, The Preatures, The Belair Lip Bombs, Luca Brasi, Full Flower Moon Band, South Summit, Carla Geneve, Banjo Lucia and Special Features all supporting.

Support acts for the first 26 sold-out tour dates are still being finalised and will be announced soon.
