Ocean Alley are the latest Aussie music act to get their own alcoholic beverage. The Northern Beaches favourites have teamed with South Australian brewery Coopers for Coopers Ocean Alley Ale, which is available to purchase now.
Bright gold in colour but retaining Cooper’s classic cloudy appearance, this great-tasting tropical pale ale has an ABV of 3.8%, making it ideal for an afternoon sesh. This limited edition brew is available in 375ml cans and 50 litre kegs.
“Coopers kindly invited us to partner with them in creating this one-of-a-kind Ocean Alley Ale, and not only are we honoured to be included amongst their tasty range of brews, but also a part of Coopers’ long and rich history,” Ocean Alley said in a statement.
“We’re stoked to have now worked with Coopers for many years. We love drinking their beer – and have been for a very long time – so that says a lot. We appreciate working with a fellow independent and Australian-owned team who have supported our music and many charity efforts for all this time.”
The band even got the opportunity to tour the massive Coopers’ brewery and was taken through the brewing process of their refreshing ale.
“We've worked closely with Ocean Alley over the years, and we know they all enjoy a beer,” Coopers Managing Director Michael Shearer said. “Great music and great beer go hand-in-hand, so we got the guys involved with a new beer that appeals to their love of refreshing tropical ale.
“The band collaborated with our brewers on flavour profile and hop selection as well as helping to design the packaging featuring a surfing coat of arms. After plenty of tastings, we’ve arrived at an easy drinking beer that captures the true vibes of Ocean Alley.”
To celebrate the release of Coopers Ocean Alley Ale, Coopers are hosting a party with Ocean Alley at The Royal in Bondi on Sunday, April 6. The day will feature DJs, door prizes, an 8-ball pool comp against Ocean Alley, and of course, plenty of cold cans of Coopers Ocean Alley Ale.
Those unable to make the event can go in the running to see Ocean Alley perform live in either Los Angeles or London. To enter the $10,000 VIP concert experience competition, all you need to do is grab a pint or four-pack of Coopers Ocean Alley Ale and head to the Coopers website.

The release of Coopers Ocean Alley Ale comes less than a month after Ocean Alley returned with the groovy rock and roller ‘Left Of The Dealer’.
The band’s first taste of new music in 2025 was released independently via Community Music and finds the collective taking their familiar sound in a more rock-orientated direction.
The single was accompanied by a '60s-inspired music video directed by Duncan Wright (Pond, San Cisco, Methyl Ethyl). Filmed on a property in the Northern Rivers, the clip blends digital and VHS footage, crafting a nostalgic vibe that weaves through the video.
Formed almost 15 years ago, Ocean Alley have released four critically acclaimed albums over the journey. The six-piece, comprising Baden Donegal (vocals), Angus Goodwin (guitar), Lach Galbraith (keys/vocals), Mitch Galbraith (guitar), Tom O’Brien (drums) and Nic Blom (bass), have gained a large international fanbase thanks to their carefree tunes and constant touring.
‘Left Of The Dealer’ arrives ahead of the lad’s biggest North American tour yet, with Ocean Alley performing 11 shows across the US and Canada in July and October. They have also locked in a special headline gig in London at Alexandra Palace in September.
