The Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) has revealed the second instalment of speakers set to grace the stages at this year’s Indie-Con Australia and A2IM Indie Week Australian Edition 2026 annual conferences.
Held in Adelaide, Australia’s UNESCO designated City of Music, thanks to continued support from the South Australian Government through the Music Development Office, from Wednesday 29 July to Friday 31 July, this year’s edition features speakers and industry leaders from across the globe discussing everything from touring, marketing and artist development to gaming, AI and metadata.
Joining an already stacked lineup of guest speakers are former triple j host and music influencer Bridget Hustwaite, Select Music’s Casey O’Shaughnessy, Swedish manager and agent Emmy Sjöström, Ninja Tune’s Hannah Silk Champagne, Winspear co-founder Jared Jones, Level Two’s Jen Taunton, Ground Control Touring agent Lindsay Ibberson, The Annex founder Mardi Caught, NLV Records founder Nina Las Vegas, Community Music’s Rachel Kelly, Golden Hour founder Sarah Hamilton and Warp Publishing’s Théo Seffusatti.

Along with AIR’s Indie-Con Australia Conference and A2IM’s Indie Week Australian Edition Conference, Thursday 30 July plays host to the 20th edition of the AIR Awards at Adelaide’s iconic Town Hall.
The nominees for this year’s AIR Awards were announced last week, with electronic producer and DJ Ninajirachi leading the charge with the most nods for Best Independent Electronic Single, Best Independent Electronic Album or EP, Independent Song of the Year and Independent Album of the Year.
This year sees the introduction of two new awards in the Dance/Electronic Award categories – Best Independent Dance/Club Single and Best Independent Electronic Single.
AIR’s Indie-Con Australia Conference and A2IM’s Indie Week Australian Edition Conference will be held from 29 July to 31 July at the Mercury Cinema and Nexus Arts. Tickets are on sale here.
