Matt Corby has announced an Australian tour to coincide with the release of his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Tragic Magic.
Featuring the singles, ‘Long and Short’, ‘Burn It Down’, ‘Big Ideas’, ‘Know It All’ and ‘War To Love’, Tragic Magic was co-produced by Corby and features input from long-time co-writer Nat Dunn and co-producers/co-writers Chris Collins (Royel Otis, Middle Kids, Old Mervs) and Dann Hume (Genesis Owusu, Tones and I).
Speaking on the album, the ARIA Award winner had this to say: “This record has a big dynamic range of vocal intensity.”
Corby’s The Tragic Magic Tour, which features special touring guest Gretta Ray, hits Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday 3 June and continues with concerts at Perth’s Riverside Theatre on Thursday 4 June and Winter Wine Festival in Gerringong on Saturday 6 June (not a Frontier show).
The tour then heads to Melbourne for a gig at The Forum on Tuesday 9 June, followed by shows at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Friday 12 June, Sydney’s Tumbalong Park as part of Vivid LIVE on Saturday June 13 (not a Frontier show). and Brisbane’s The Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday 14 June.

A three-time ARIA Award winner, Matt Corby first made his mark in 2011 with his hit single, ‘Brother’, certified 10× Platinum and regarded as a contemporary classic.
He’s gone on to release three acclaimed albums, Telluric (2016), Rainbow Valley (2018) and Everything’s Fine (2023), and firmly established himself as one of the nation’s great songwriters.
Tragic Magic ushers in the next chapter of Corby’s incredible career, which fans can experience in person when he hits the road in June.
