In mixed news for South Aussie Lorde fans, the Kiwi superstar has announced she’s bringing her Ultrasound World Tour to New Zealand and Australia in 2026, but is bypassing Adelaide.
The Grammy-winning artist has locked in two New Zealand shows and four Aussie gigs across February next year in support of her most recent album, Virgin.
Out now via EMI Music Australia and Universal Music New Zealand, Virgin topped the Aotearoa Music Charts (NZ), ARIA Albums Chart (AU) and the Official Albums Chart (UK).
Co-produced by Lorde, Jim-E Stack and Dan Nigro, Virgin comprises 11 introspective tracks, incluing ‘What Was That’, ‘Man of the Year’, ‘Hammer’, ‘Favourite Daughter’ and ‘Shapeshifter’.
Lorde’s Ultrasound tour begins with shows at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Wednesday 11 February and Christchurch’s Wolfbrook Arena on Friday 13 February. Lorde then pops across to Australia for concerts at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Monday 16 February, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday 18 February, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 21 February and Perth’s Arena on Wednesday 25 February.

Since breaking through with Pure Heroine in 2013, Lorde has redefined the modern pop music scene through her powerful voice and emotive lyrics. With over 18 billion global streams and 18 million album sales worldwide, it’s safe to say she is one of the biggest voices in music.
She released her sophomore album, Melodrama, in 2017 and followed that with 2021’s Solar Power, an album about escapism she co-wrote with producer Jack Antonoff.
Gearing up for her biggest tour to date, Lorde’s Ultrasound World Tour begins in September in Austin, Texas. Having already sold out dates at multiple venues across the globe, including Madison Square Garden in New York and 02 Arena in London, tickets for Lorde’s New Zealand and Aussie shows are sure to follow suit.
