The Killers and Olivia Dean Headline Inaugural Ocean Way Festival
The festival is the first major music festival on Santa Monica beach.

Goldenvoice, the folks behind Coachella, have announced Ocean Way Festival, a new two-day music festival taking place on Santa Monica beach.
Held the last weekend of September from Saturday 26 to Sunday 27 September this year, the festival is billed as a celebration of music, food, wellness, design, sustainability and beach culture on one of California's iconic coastlines,
The festival takes its name from the iconic Ocean Way Recording studios and features two days of incredible live music from the biggest artists on the planet.
Saturday is for the rockers, with The Killers headlining alongside Jack White, Sublime, Alvvays, SG Lewis, 54 Ultra, Hot Chips DJs, DJ Harvey, Austin Millz, Nala and Heidi Lawden, while Sunday features pop superstar Olivia Dean sharing the stage with Khruangbin, Durand Jones and the Indications, Hiatus Kaiyote, BLOND:ISH, Poolside, Carlita, Good Neighbours, Vandelux, Coco Breezy and EREZ.
Five acts will perform on the main stage each day, while a second stage offers punters a more intimate space to enjoy the music. There will be designated areas for people to enjoy the beach and the creation of Proper Beach Club, a beachfront hospitality experience designed in partnership with Proper Hotels, with elevated service and additional perks.
In the weeks leading up to Ocean Way Festival, there will be a stack of free events and activities throughout Santa Monica, including fre concerts, youth surf and water safety programming, local business partnerships and more.

"Santa Monica has an incredible music history, and Goldenvoice has been fortunate to be part of that story," says Nic Adler, VP Regional Festivals, Goldenvoice. "From legendary shows at the Civic Auditorium to the origins of Ocean Way Recording just steps from the beach, there’s a creative legacy here that’s unlike anywhere else. Ocean Way Festival is our opportunity to celebrate that history while building something that feels authentically Santa Monica for years to come."
Brad Korzen, CEO of Proper Hospitality, adds, "Music and design have always been at the core of what we do at Proper. Proper Presents has been a big part of that journey, and the Proper Beach Club at Ocean Way Festival feels like a natural next step. To bring our approach to hospitality to an event of this scale, right here in Santa Monica, takes everything we've built to a whole new level."
Mayor Caroline Torosis of the City of Santa Monica is excited for the festival, remarking, "Santa Monica is in the middle of a renaissance. The city is welcoming the world to its shores, and Ocean Way Festival is how we're making sure our own community is at the centre of it."
Ocean Way Festival takes place on Santa Monica Beach, California, USA, on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026. Full ticket details and pricing at oceanwayfestival.com.
