Grace Petrie Returns To Australia & New Zealand for Long-Awaited 2027 Tour

The firebrand UK folk-punk songwriter returns this February and March.

After being forced to cancel her Australian and New Zealand tour this year due to the sudden passing of her father, UK singer-songwriter Grace Petrie has announced a new run of shows across February and March 2027.

A regular visitor to our shores, the acclaimed UK folk singer is playing a series of headline shows and leading folk festivals.

Following the postponement of her 2026 tour, Petrie said she was deeply moved by the kindness shown by Australian and New Zealand audiences.

"I have always had a special love for Australia and Aotearoa, and the wonderful folks there who have supported me and held me up for years," she said. "Thank you for your understanding while I navigate these difficult days."

Petrie kicks off her tour at the Nannup Music Festival in WA from Friday 26 to Saturday 27 February, followed by shows in Adelaide, Castlemaine, Melbourne, Upwey, Port Fairy, Brisbane, Pomona, Blue Mountains, Newcastle, Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and Sydney, before wrapping things up at Canberra's National Folk Festival from Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 March.

One of Britain's most compelling contemporary songwriters, Petrie has been writing and performing for two decades. Her most recent album, 2024's Build Something Better, debuted at #1 on the UK Official Folk Albums Chart.

Tackling everything from social justice and politics to relationships and grief, Petrie is one of the UK's most compelling voices who has become renowned for live performances.
