Award-winning vocal powerhouse Judith Hill is touring Australia in 2026 in support of her most recent album, Letters from a Black Widow.
Released last year, Letters from a Black Widow has received universal acclaim from critics. Led by the single ‘Flame’, described as “a searing anthem of endurance and rebirth”, the 12-track record also features ‘Dame de la Lumière’, a song dedicated to Hill’s mother and grandmother. “Standing on their shoulders, I carry on,” Hill says. “Bad times make strong women – that’s my mantra.”
Hill’s upcoming Australian tour takes in seven shows, beginning with Blues on Broadbeach Festival on the Gold Coast on Sunday 17 May. The tour continues with dates at The Lounge in Chatswood on Tuesday 19 May, Factory Theatre in Marrickville on Thursday 21 May, Memo Music Hall in St Kilda on Friday 22 May, The Gov in Adelaide on Saturday 23 May, Princess Theatre in Brisbane on Sunday 24 May and Northcote Theatre in Melbourne on Tuesday 26 May.

Born into a musical family, Hill’s father, bassist Robert “Peewee” Hill, and mother, keyboardist Michiko Hill, have been part of her band for years.
A backup vocalist for the likes of Michael Jackson, Prince and Josh Groban, Hill struck out on her own in 2015 with the release of her debut album, Back In Time.
Hill has gone on to release four more albums – Golden Child (2018), Studio Live Session (2019), Baby’ I’m Hollywood! (2021) and Letters From a Black Widow (2024) – featured in the award-winning documentary film 20 Feet from Stardom and appeared on The Voice, making it to the final eight.
