There are few voices as alluring as R&B songstress Jorja Smith. A major influence on the modern British sound, the two-time BRIT Award winner is kicking off her new era with ‘What’s Done Is Done’.

Produced by acclaimed London producer P2J, ‘What’s Done Is Done’ is a garage banger for those late nights at the club. Smith’s tantalising voice soars over the snapping synths and subtle percussion on this track about hurt, acceptance and hard-won resolve.

The song is accompanied by a music video directed by Smith’s longtime collaborator KC Locke and captures the feel of a night out with friends. The clip features appearances from Smith’s real friends, family and collaborators from across the UK - including AJ Tracey, Knucks, Novelist, Nadia Rose, Wohdee, Specs Gonzales, Remi Burgz, Manchester dance collective Trend Kids and The Blue Lights Choir.

It’s been a big start to the year for Smith, who celebrated the 10th anniversary of her debut single ‘Blue Lights’ in February. Peaking at #4 on the UK Indie Singles Chart, the song propelled Smith into the British music mainstream, where she has established herself not only as a UK icon but also as one of the most sought-after voices on the planet.

2026 has also seen Smith perform on the debut season of Saturday Night Live UK and pop up with two tracks on the soundtrack to Riz Ahmed’s Prime Video series Bait.

The release of ‘What’s Done Is Done’ opens a new chapter for Smith, marking a confident return from an artist continuing to evolve on her own terms.
