Iron & Wine Announces 2026 Australian Tour
The indie folk artist returns to Australia for the first time since 2018.

Singer-songwriter Sam Beam, aka Iron & Wine, makes his triumphant return to Australia in 2026.
Touring the country for the first time since 2018, Iron & Wine will perform a run of stripped-back solo shows, performing songs from his expansive catalogue along with tracks from his latest album, last year’s Light Verse.
The five-time Grammy-nominated artist is playing both headline shows and festival spots, beginning his tour in Perth at The Rechabite on Saturday 28 February.
Iron & Wine then performs at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Monday 2 March and Sydney’s City Recital Hall on Wednesday 4 March, before two festival performances at WOMADelaide in Adelaide on Friday 6 March and Port Fairy Folk Festival in Port Fairy on Saturday 7 March and Sunday 8 March.
The final date of the tour is on Tuesday 10 March at Northcote Theatre in Melbourne.

Sam Beam has been releasing music under the Iron & Wine moniker for more than 20 years. In that time, he’s released seven studio albums, several live albums and contributed to movie soundtracks.
Iron & Wine have also collaborated with a slew of incredible artists, including Calexico, Ben Bridwell (Band of Horses) and Jesca Hoop, made a live concert documentary and received critical acclaim for his emotive folk creations from critics.
Iron & Wine’s most recent release was this year’s cover EP Making Good Time with Band of Horses’ Ben Bridwell, which features the duo’s take on tracks by Kendrick Lamar, U2, boygenius and more.
