Aussie hip hop great Illy is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his hit album Two Degrees with a national tour.
Released in November 2016, Two Degrees debuted at #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart and spawned the hit singles ‘Papercuts’ with Vera Blue and ‘Catch 22’ with Anne-Marie.
“I’m not one for looking back too often, but this milestone for Two Degrees is a moment worth celebrating with the people who it meant something to then, and still does to this day,” says Illy. “I wouldn’t be here without them, and I look forward to playing Two Degrees, and some even deeper cuts from the back catalogue, for the first time in a long time, with the people who’ve been with me the longest.”
Illy, joined by his live band, will perform Two Degrees in full for the very first time, along with fan favourites from his stacked back catalogue.
Commencing in Melbourne at 170 Russell on Sunday 7 June, Illy’s Two Degrees 10th anniversary tour continues with dates at Perth’s Freo Social on Saturday 13 June, Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday 19 June, Sydney’s Manning Bar on Saturday 27 June and Brisbane’s The Triffid on Saturday 18 July.
