Gang of Youths Return With New Single 'Things Take Time'
This is the band's first new release in four years.

After an extended time away from the spotlight, Sydney rock outfit Gang of Youths return with 'Things Take Time'.
A Bruce Hornsby-esque soft rocker with a subtle brass section, the powerful track signals the quartet's new era.
A meditation on patience, transformation and the cyclical nature of life, the band had this to say about the track: "It's not really about anything in particular, other than the endless loop of birth, growth, death and rebirth which encases all matter and energy or whatever."
Produced by Gang of Youths, 'Things Take Time' features the band's David Le’aupepe on vocals and piano, Tom Hobden on violin, Donnie Borzestowski on drums and Jung Kim on guitar and keyboards, with additional performances from Andrew Burgess (bass guitar), Nick Etwell (trumpet), Dave Williamson (trombone) and Klara Schumann (cello).
Recorded at Decoy Studios, Suffolk, UK, the track was engineered by Robert Sellens and Jung Kim, with additional engineering by Tom Hobden, Donnie Borzestowski, and David Le’aupepe, mixed by Ben Baptie at Piano Sing in London and mastered by Joe LaPorta at Sterling Sound in New Jersey.

Breaking through with their 2015 debut album The Positions, it was Gang of Youth's landmark sophomore album Go Farther In Lightness that established them as bona fide rockstars, with the record topping the ARIA Albums Chart and taking home four ARIA Awards.
2022 follow-up Angel In Realtime also hit #1 and further cemented Gang of Youths' reputation as not only great songwriters, but an incredible live band.
