Floodlights Share Live Performance of New Album
The 52-minute video features the band performing their third album, Underneath, in its entirety.

Days out from their upcoming Aussie tour, Naarm/Melbourne-based rockers Floodlights have released a live recording of their third album, Underneath.
Filmed at Northcote Uniting Church, the 52-minute performance is a special bonus for fans and features Floodlights playing through all 11 tracks that make up the acclaimed album.
The live video is free to watch on YouTube and features Floodlights performing album singles ‘Buoyant’, ‘Cloud Away’, ‘The Light Won’t Shine Forever’ and more. It was recorded with frequent visual collaborators Ava Clifforth and Henry Gosper, who also shot the music video for the band’s most recent single, ‘Buoyant’.
Floodlights keyboardist and trumpeter Sarah Hellyer had this to say about the music video: “Making this film was such a fun opportunity for us to push and extend our live performance and we’re excited to bring these moments to the album tour. It was also so special to play our album in full to some of our nearest and dearest who made up the stage crew who feature throughout the clip.”

Floodlights’ national tour commences this weekend at Oxford Arts Factory in Eora/Sydney on Saturday, May 3. The band continues with shows at The Northern Festival in Cavanbah/Byron Bay on Sunday, May 4, Freo Social in Walyalup/Fremantle on Friday, May 9, The River in Wooditup/Margaret River on Saturday, May 10, Lion Arts Factory in Tarntanya/Adelaide on Friday, May 16, and Crowbar in Meanjin/Brisbane on Saturday, May 17.
The final two gigs of the tour take place at Altar in Nipaluna/Hobart on Friday, May 23 and The Forum in Naarm/Melbourne on Saturday, May 24.
Once they’ve wrapped up the tour, Floodlights head over to New Zealand for two concerts in July before a run of dates in the UK and Europe across August and September.
