Days out from their upcoming Aussie tour, Naarm/Melbourne-based rockers Floodlights have released a live recording of their third album, Underneath.
Filmed at Northcote Uniting Church, the 52-minute performance is a special bonus for fans and features Floodlights playing through all 11 tracks that make up the acclaimed album.
The live video is free to watch on YouTube and features Floodlights performing album singles ‘Buoyant’, ‘Cloud Away’, ‘The Light Won’t Shine Forever’ and more. It was recorded with frequent visual collaborators Ava Clifforth and Henry Gosper, who also shot the music video for the band’s most recent single, ‘Buoyant’.
Floodlights keyboardist and trumpeter Sarah Hellyer had this to say about the music video: “Making this film was such a fun opportunity for us to push and extend our live performance and we’re excited to bring these moments to the album tour. It was also so special to play our album in full to some of our nearest and dearest who made up the stage crew who feature throughout the clip.”
