618 Fest returns to Lion Arts Factory on Saturday 21 November for a celebration of heavy music and everything great about the South Australian scene.

Following a hugely successful debut in 2025, the independently run festival is raising the bar with an incredible lineup headlined by one of Australia's biggest and best names in hardcore: Day of Contempt!

Fresh from rocking out at their first Adelaide show in 15 years, hardcore legends Day of Contempt are thrilled to be playing 618 Fest and ready for fans to stir up the mosh pit and throwdown during the breakdowns.

Joining Day of Contempt on the bill are Melbourne metalcore five-piece Ends In Tragedy, brutal death metal fiends Algor Mortis and the comically named Nicholas Cage Fighter, who arrive in Adelaide after dominating Japan on their recent international tour.

This year's 618 Fest is also bringing people together, with two awesome bands reforming for the festival: Closed Eyes are playing their first show in 15 years, while Bloodsport reunite for the first time in over a decade. This could be your only chance to see these influential Adelaide hardcore outfits on stage, with no further gigs planned.

Rounding out the lineup are Adelaide favourites Hammer618, Forge, Win Big and Success alongside Barriers, who feature members of Cry Murder.

Tickets are on sale now via moshtix.com.au.

Open to all ages, 618 Fest continues its mission to support Australia’s grassroots heavy music scene while creating a space where longtime fans and newcomers can experience it together.

Early bird tickets are available now through Moshtix, but don’t wait around - if the response to last year’s event was anything to go by, this one is set to sell out long before show day.
