Uruguay-born, Byron Bay-based folk purveyor Felipe Baldomir has announced an extensive Australian tour.
The Sunset Highway Tour arrives ahead of his upcoming studio album dropping in November and is a celebration of the album’s first four singles, ‘Sunset Highway’ (out now), ‘Cielo Azul’ (out May 29), ‘Love Moon’ (out July 10) and ‘Letter From Paradise’ (out August 21).
Baldomir’s fourth studio album is inspired by his deep connection to nature, with the songs on the record meant to inspire and uplift.
The singer-songwriter is embarking on a winter tour from July to September, performing 16 shows across the country. Beginning in his current hometown of Byron Bay on Friday 3 July, Baldomir plays shows in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Coffs Harbour, Adelaide, Fremantle, Exmouth, Torquay, Melbourne, Balnarring, Canberra, Milton, Wollongong and Sydney, before a final gig at 7th Day Brewery in Brookvale on Friday 11 September.
Joining him on the road are good friends Jordy Maxwell and Dusty Boots.

Making the move down under in 2018, Felipe Baldomir has embraced the Australian way, spending his time surfing, writing music and touring.
Converting an old van into a “rolling home and studio” has meant Baldomir can travel the country performing, building an audience through his honest and raw songs that fuse traditional folk music with synths, saxophone and more.
Touring consistently across Australia, the UK, Europe and South America, Baldomir has supported the likes of Kim Churchill, Jack Botts and The Dreggs, and released three albums and a host of EPs and singles.
Catch Felipe Baldomir at The Austral on Friday 14 August. Tickets on sale via moshtix.com.au.
