Slowly Slowly frontman and in-demand producer Benjamin Stewart is embarking on a solo tour from June to September.
The singer, songwriter and musician is playing a mix of band and solo shows, locking in eight dates that will see him perform tracks from his two studio albums, Pushing Daylight (2024) and Junkdelight (2025).
Unlike his work with Slowly Slowly, Stewart’s solo material falls under the singer-songwriter/folk bracket, with the troubadour armed with only his guitar and rich voice.
Stewart begins his tour with three shows accompanied by his band at Frankston’s Young St Tavern on Thursday 5 June, Melbourne’s Howler on Friday 6 June and Belgrave’s Sooki Lounge on Saturday 7 June.
The remaining five dates are all solo shows, with Stewart performing at Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Thursday 27 August, Hobart’s Republic Bar on Friday 28 August, Launceston’s Royal Oak on Saturday 29 August, Brisbane’s Tomcat on Friday 4 September and Sydney’s Burdekin on Saturday 5 September.
