Esha Tewari Drops Deluxe EP ‘What Makes A Girl A Girl’
The deluxe edition of her What Makes A Girl EP features two new tracks.

Indie folk pop songstress Esha Tewari has dropped the deluxe edition of her EP What Makes A Girl, entitled What Makes A Girl A Girl via Alta Music Group and Tewari Entertainment Corporation (listen here).
The EP includes the four singles ‘Muse’, ‘In Twos’, ‘About Me’ and ‘The Winner’, alongside previously unreleased tracks ‘Cars and Gasoline’ and ‘Where Out Streers Met’.
“This EP is a collection of songs I started collating around my US tour [The Wraith Tour],” Tewari says. “After putting them together, everything became so clear - the title is a nudge to my own experience with the performance of gender. I believe girlhood is something that transcends biology and is all about community and shared experiences.
“As someone who has never felt particularly connected to womenhood, having close girl friends around me and so many incredible girls who listen and relate to my music has allowed me to connect to myself in a different way. I don’t think anything is truly gendered - it’s all just a performance, and whatever you want to make of it. I hope everyone listens and is able to relate to my music.”

After spending most of 2025 on the road, performing to packed audiences across Australia and the US, Tewari is preparing to support Conan Gray on his upcoming Wishbone World Tour.
She will share the stage with Gray across North America, Europe and the UK before touching down in Australia for a run of shows in September and October.
Fans can catch Gray and Tewari performing at Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Monday 29 September, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday 1 October, Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday 3 October, Adelaide’s AEC Arena on Monday 5 October and Perth’s RAC Arena on Thursday 8 October.
