Adelaide indie rockers Destinezia return in 2026 with rollicking new single ‘crooked teeth.’.
The first taste of new tunes from the band since the release of their 2025 debut EP DO THEY KNOW?, ‘crooked teeth.’ is a glorious serving of vibrant guitar rock you can’t help but tap your foot to.
“It marked a shift in our sound, but more importantly, it was about creating something that felt completely honest and true to where we were as a band,” Destinezia revealed. “Rather than chasing a polished or perfected version of the song, we focused on capturing the emotion and imperfections that gave it its meaning.
“By allowing the song to take its time, we were able to reflect the way it actually lived and breathed with us, rather than forcing it into a fixed structure too early. The result is something raw, transparent, and unfiltered, a song that doesn’t hide its edges, but embraces them. ‘crooked teeth.’ represents a moment of honesty for us, both sonically and emotionally, and sets the tone for where we’re heading next.”

To coincide with the release, Destinezia have announced a run of shows alongside fellow Adelaidians TOWNHOUSE through February and March.
Kicking things off with two interstate gigs at Melbourne’s The Retreat on Thursday 26 February and Canberra’s Dissent Bar on Saturday 28 February, Destinezia return home for three SA shows at Ed Castle in Adelaide on Wednesday 4 March, Yeo Haus in Port Elliot on Saturday 7 March and COFU Fest in Caltowie on Saturday 21 March. Tickets on sale now at linktr.ee/destinezia_band.
Speaking about the tour, the band said, “The tour marks a big moment for Destinezia, which is the first time the band has hit the road on a run of this scale, and feels like a natural step forward into a new chapter. Sonically, it sees Destinezia sharpen the edges of their sound while holding onto the dreamy, nostalgic feel that’s always been at the centre of the band. The tour is a chance to bring that openness to the stage, play new material live, and let the songs exist in their most raw and vulnerable form.”
