Following the release of singles ‘Solid’, ‘When This Is Over’ and B-side ‘A Decade Long Sunset’, Aussie electronic heroes Cut Copy have shared new single ‘Still See Love’, taken from their upcoming seventh studio album, Moments.
‘Still See Love’ is a sparkling electro explosion of shifting synths and unassuming vocals inspired by artists like Arthur Russell, Francois K and ESG.
“‘Still See Love’ was a tune that came together pretty quickly, written about a couple clinging to what’s left of a relationship as it slowly capsizes,” explains Cut Copy’s Dan Whitford. “My idea was to make a song that had a verse and chorus that came from different worlds. I love the sense of contrast we achieved in this song. It’s constantly flipping back and forth between worlds and it almost feels like it exists in two places at once.”
Cut Copy’s new album, Moments, drops on Friday 5 September via Cutters Records / The Orchard (pre-order/pre-save here). The group’s first since 2020’s Freeze, Melt, the record is nine tracks of dynamic synth-pop exploring life’s ups and downs.

For close to 25 years, Cut Copy have been the soundtrack to dancefloors across the globe. Helping pioneer the early ‘00s indie electronic scene here in Oz, the group have released six albums across the journey.
Breaking through with 2008’s In Ghost Colours, an album that topped the ARIA Album Chart and spawned the hit singles ‘Lights & Music’ and ‘Hearts on Fire’, Cut Copy followed up several years later with Zonoscope, a record that won Best Dance Release at the ARIA Awards and came in at #2 on the Billboard US Top Dance/Electronic Chart.
Ahead of the release of Moments, Cut Copy are playing several special shows at the Forum in Melbourne, before appearances at Night At The Barracks in Sydney and Night At The Parkland in Brisbane. Cut Copy then head to the States for a run of shows in support of Movements.
Fingers crossed a fully-fledged Australian tour is on the cards.
