Banks Arcade Announce Sophomore Album 'SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR'

New Zealand's heavy innovators Banks Arcade have announced the release of their sophomore album SECOND PLACE SUPERSTAR, dropping Friday 25 September.

Building on their 2022 debut album Future Lovers, Banks Arcade's upcoming LP expands on their unique sound as heard on the singles 'ROCKSTAR', 'DON'T MISS', 'MIRROR' and 'SEVERANCE'.

Banks Arcade's new album arrives a couple of months ahead of their upcoming Australian tour supporting From Ashes To New, which kicks off in Sydney on Friday 9 October at Factory Theatre. The band then plays Melbourne's 170 Russell on Sunday 11 October, before stopping at Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Tuesday 13 October, finishing up on Thursday 15 October at Brisbane's The Triffid.
