Aussie DJ and producer Young Franco returns with new single ‘Champion Sound’, his first release since signing with MDLBEAST Records in a joint venture with Resound Records.
A high voltage blast of UK garage with a touch of funk, ‘Champion Sound’ features the vocal talents of MC Riko Dan, a legend of the UK grime scene. A huge fan of the MC since he was a kid, Franco sees the collaboration as a dream come true.
“I’ve been a fan of Riko Dan ever since I first heard his track ‘Warlord’ with Daffy and Dominus,” says Franco. “So when I got the opportunity to jump in the studio with him, I was absolutely gassed. ‘Champion Sound’ is everything I imagined a collaboration with Riko would sound like, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
Franco’s signing to MDLBEAST Records and Resound Records signals the next evolution in the festival favourite’s career. Arguably one of the country’s most accomplished dance exports in recent years, Franco’s quest to become the best matches the goals of MDLBEAST and Resound Records.
