The awards are a celebration of all the incredible performers who have played the venue over the past year.

Voting is open for Hindley Street Music Hall’s third annual Live Music Awards.
Last year saw the venue play host to 91 gigs, including performances from international superstars like BBN0$, Opeth, The Kooks, Primal Scream and Gary Clark Jr, to Aussie favourites such as Amyl and the Sniffers, The Living End, Bliss N Eso and Ian Moss.
Voting is super easy: just click on this link and select your gig of the year, and write a short paragraph on why. All those who vote go in the running for Hindley Street Music Hall’s coveted Golden Ticket that gives you access to five shows at Hindley Street Music Hall in 2026 of your choosing (pending guest list availability).

Last year saw over 1,000 votes cast to choose the best live act that played the venue in 2025, with English rockers The Cult proclaimed the winner. Aussie legends Hoodoo Gurus came in at number two, Nothing But Thieves at three and Chase & Status taking out fourth spot.
