Psychedelic doom monsters Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats return to Australian shores this December.
Last here in 2020, the UK heavyweights will perform tracks from across their cult catalogue, including their most recent release, 2024’s tribute to Italian cinema, Nell' Ora Blu.
Emerging from the British underground, Kevin Starrs and co have established themselves as one of heavy music’s most complex outfits.
Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats' long-awaited return commences at Crowbar in Brisbane on Wednesday 2 December. Then it’s off to Sydney’s Crowbar on Thursday 3 December and Melbourne’s Croxton on Friday 4 December, followed by Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Sunday 6 December, before the tour wraps at Perth’s The Rechabite on Tuesday 8 December.

Formed by vocalist and guitarist Kevin Starrs in 2009, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats have gained a rep as one of the most compelling live acts in modern rock.
Described by their label as the “original Alice Cooper band jamming in a cell with early Black Sabbath and the Stooges,” Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats’ sound has an otherworldly feel that runs through the band’s six studio albums.
