After revealing the lineup for this year’s triple j One Night Stand during Breakfast with Abby & Tyrone on Monday, the national radio station has today revealed the festival’s location: Griffith, NSW.
Taking over the Griffith Showground on Wiradjuri Country on Saturday 5 September, this year’s One Night Stand features a stacked lineup of Aussie talent led by electronic producer Ninajirachi.
The bill also includes indie rockers DMA’S, genre-defying artist Genesis Owusu, alt-pop standout MAY-A, award-winning indie rockers Beddy Rays, plus a yet-to-be-announced local triple j Unearthed Competition Winner.
Located in the Riverina Region of NSW, Griffith is the ideal mix of country town and vibrant metropolis, with the town just a four-hour road trip from Canberra, five hours from Melbourne and six hours from Sydney.

It’s been over a decade since One Night Stand last set up shop in NSW (the last festival was in Dubbo in 2013), so tickets are expected to sell like hot cakes.
An all-ages, drug-and-alcohol-free event, ticket proceeds from One Night Stand are donated to three incredible organisations: Australian music industry charity, Support Act, youth music charity, The Push, and local partner, Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service. A portion of ticket proceeds will also help fund youth-led initiatives in Griffith, shaped by young people in the local community.
Tickets to triple j’s One Night Stand go on sale at 9am AEST today for $15 + BF for over 16s, and $10 + BF for under 16s via oztix.com.au.
