Award season is here and triple j are excited to announce the nominees for the 2024 J Awards.
This year marks the 20th anniversary of the J Awards, with Australia’s top-tier talent recognised for their incredible achievements. More than 25 Aussie artists have been given the nod, with Amyl And The Sniffers, currently riding high after the release of their third album Cartoon Darkness, leading the charge with three nominations. The raucous punk rockers are in the running for Album of the Year, Double J Australian Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for their rocking single ‘U Should Not Be Doing That’.
First Nations hip hop group 3% are up for two awards – Album of the Year and Music Video of the Year for ‘Won’t Stop’ featuring Jessica Mauboy.
Special mention must go to Adelaide’s own aleksiah who is up for Unearthed Artist of the Year. Fingers crossed.
