Tijuana Cartel Are Bringing Their ‘Beautiful Noise Machine Tour’ To Adelaide This Month

After announcing a massive Australian tour at the start of the year that’s seen them perform just about everywhere, Tijuana Cartel have finally included Adelaide on their itinerary.
The Gold Coast electronic meets world music collective are taking over Lion Arts Factory on Friday, June 13, bringing their well-received Beautiful Nonsense Machine Tour to Adelaide fans for the first time.
Fans can expect an eclectic setlist from the genre-blending act that fuses flamenco guitar, electronic beats and psychedelic rhythms into an immersive live experience that will leave you wishing it never ends.
Joining Tijuana Cartel will be She J, performing a vibrant set of Afro rhythms, electronica and deep house.

Taking their name from the movie Traffic, Tijuana Cartel was formed by Paul George (lead guitar, vocals) and Carey O'Sullivan (rhythm guitar, electronic production) in 2003.
The band’s experimental sound, which incorporates flamenco guitar with electronica, quickly found a niche audience, with their debut album, Frequent Flyers, helping Tijuana Cartel get airplay on triple j.
International tours soon followed as Tijuana Cartel’s live performances quickly became legendary amongst music fans, with the band going on to release several EPs and LPs over the journey.
