Three D Radio’s countdown of the best songs released in 2025, the Top 93+7, returns next year for what promises to be another epic day of music.
The all-day broadcast is a massive celebration of the music championed, programmed and loved by Three D’s music-loving community of volunteers and listeners.
Kicking off nice and early at 8am on Saturday 31 January 2026, the countdown runs until sometime after 7pm when the number one song of the year will be revealed.
As with previous years, listeners can expect plenty of interviews with local SA bands and artists, with chats about the stories behind the songs and what the countdown means to local artists.
Last year’s countdown, which SONS OF ZÖKU took out, followed The Empty Threats 2024 win, highlighting the strength of the SA music scene.
This was also reflected in the voting statistics that saw 82% local (South Australian), 95% Australian and 5% international artists featured in the countdown.
Speaking about the countdown, Sonia Mir, Chair, said, “The Top 93+7 reflects the music that genuinely connected with our presenters and our audience over the past year. It’s shaped by what’s been played, supported and talked about on air – and it consistently highlights the depth of independent and local music coming through our library.”
Three D Radio’s The Top 93+7 takes place on Saturday 31 January 2026. Tune in at 93.7FM or stream via threeradio.com or the Three D Radio app.
